Since acquiring Minera Pedernales, Rio de Oro Corp Ltd has invested approximately A$9 million in exploration to systematically advance its portfolio. Key exploration achievements, include:

• Nivaldo – Completion of Induced Polarisation (IP) and ground magnetic geophysical surveys, followed by 3,564 metres of diamond drilling (nine holes), confirming a large Cu-Mo porphyry system;
• Somuncura – Completion of surface geochemical programs, IP surveys across the main projects and approximately 1,900 metres of diamond drilling at Caltrauna; and
• Pedernales – data compilation and target generation for planned post IPO geophysics and drilling program.

These exploration programs have significantly advanced the Company’s portfolio by transforming conceptual targets into drill-tested projects and defining the next stage of exploration across its key assets.

A key strength of Rio De Oro is the continued involvement of its Argentine founders, who were instrumental in identifying the exploration opportunities, securing the tenement packages, and undertaking the majority of exploration activities to date. This continuity, combined with an experienced in-country team of Argentine professionals, provides the Company with deep local expertise across geological, regulatory and community engagement disciplines.

The Company is supported by a board and leadership team with strong corporate capability, technical expertise and a track record of value creation in the resources sector. All the board and leadership team have Argentinean and South American experience.
